Caucasian Jesus

Why is god always portrayed as an old, white guy? He might as well be African or Arab. Which nation decides what nationality a god should be? The nation, that believes in him? Most Christians are white guys, so god has to be a white guy as well? Shouldn´t god resemble the majority on earth? That would be Asian. If we were made in god´s image, shouldn´t he be Asian then? Asian god, Asian Jesus? But that won´t happen. Why does god have to be a western, Caucasian guy?

In fact, Jesus was born in Israel and he might have looked like a typical Judean Jewish guy. Caramel-brown skin tone, black hair, brown eyes. Just like most of the Arabs look as well. Jesus, Arab-looking, hanging around with one whore and 12 guys, whom he loves, as he tells them repeatedly. The bible also tells us, that Jesus had temper tantrums and behave like a lunatic sometimes.

I guess the god that people believe in is international and tolerant enough to choose a non-white, bisexual Jew to be his son, but he also is a western, Caucasian, non-Jewish white guy.

The right choice

I realized, that you can´t make decisions just relying on logical thinking. Feelings are an importand advisor as well, because you need to choose, what makes you happy. That sounds like the most obvious fact in the world: You need to choose, what makes you happy. But frankly, I have realized, that to some people, it is not that obvious.

I know a lot of people, who chose what didn´t make them happy. They chose a career, that didn´t make them happy. They chose a partner, who didn´t make them happy. They chose a hair colour, that didn´t make them happy.
And even more importandly: They chose to care more about the things, that weren´t making them happy than about all the precious little moments, they were allowed to enjoy.

I often wonder: Do I make decisions, that don´t make me happy? If yes, why would I do something so stupid? Maybe because you need to know, what will make you happy, to choose, what makes you happy. Do I know, what makes me happy?

But maybe I shouldn´t waste so much time thinking about that. I should rather be happy about the precious little moments, I am allowed to enjoy.

Fake Dialogues

I love writing fake dialogues. It´s like writing a play, a dialogue between two or more people who try to get their shit together trough communication. Usually insights won´t occur to those moaning. But still moaning can be fucking great fun, can´t it?

The english language

I´ve started writing in English, because the english language is the only word-based language I can express myself freely with. The words aren´t soaked with experiences. Every experience I have ever had I experienced in german. German is the language soaked in experiences. English is totally free. I can say whatever I want in english without feeling bad about it. In english, I can always smile. In english I always feel beauty, I see beauty in every tiny creature on this colourful earth, I experience beauty, I create beauty. In german, I´m feeling stressed all the time. In english my heart is floating on waves moved by music, art and poetry.

Also the english language is rich in images. It´s a languages using symbols and pictures to describe. English idioms are getting to the point. With english idioms you can much more easily get a finger on what you actually want to say than in any other language. It´s not possible to use the english language without using idioms. They even did an Archer-Episode on it. The figures (Archer, Lana & Co.) try to avoid Idioms, but they can´t, because idioms are the only way to express something intelligent that is really getting to the point. I love pictures, I love symbols and I love black-coloured sceneries that point out every weak spot you see before your very eye.

Art and Social Media

It´s hard to find someone who matches you intellectually. It´s not about how smart people are. It´s about how their minds work. I personally love to be bubbeling over with weird ideas and to get lost in philosophical questions.

Social media gives me the opportunity, to communicate with people who love to share my mindset. And though I will never meet them in person, sometimes they seem to be closer than everyone I have to talk to on a daily basis.
